About Me

Haii, my name is Vespera Vaughn, but you can call me Ves. (It sounds like the word "ves" in vest.) I use the she-series pronoun, and I’m an English major who scurried away from bio, lol. I’m a bit of a yapper, so here goes.

I write what I write— bloody, guts-everywhere horror, reality-bending fiction, and a bit of romance for the hell of it. On the side, I’ll be posting poems, flash fictions, and sometimes odd crap that’s been fogging my brain. I’m thinking about writing book reviews and essays too. I heard they help you get better at writing. But I don’t know! It’s just a thought.

Now onto feedback, because I know people on the internet love to give it. Yes, my prose isn’t the best, but I’m trying to get better. Please don’t give unsolicited advice unless I ask, and please don’t be really mean about it.

About the content of my writing, it will have harsh and/or disturbing content and sex. So, I’ll put content warnings at the top of each page. For instance, if a poem is called “Shame,” the warnings will be above the title. However, if anything makes you uncomfortable, please do not read it any further. You, in the end, have the free will to not read the content. That being said, minors, do not interact. Shoo!

For the last part of this yap-session, the code for the entire site is from Petra Pixel’s layout generator. Thank you, Petra, for creating this! I'm not that good at website building, but I'm taking some lessons. That’s all to say, in the future the site will change and rely less on her generator.
